Industry grants

If you would like to apply for an industry grant, please submit your application by 1 September. Complete the online form and attach an official credit report for the Master programme that qualifies you to apply for the postgraduate. In the week following 1 September, the applications will then be processed as follows:

  • Candidates who applied before 1 September will be ranked according to the total percentage they obtained in the Master programme that qualifies them to apply for the postgraduate.
  • The top 19 students in the ranking will be allocated an industry grant for academic year 2017-2018. A maximum of one industry grant can be allocated to each student.
  • If an applicant who has been allocated an industry grant subsequently decides not to enrol, that industry grant will be reallocated to the next applicant in the ranking.
  • If an applicant who has been allocated an industry grant enrols for the programme but subsequently decides not to continue studying, this industry grant cannot be transferred to another applicant.

Students who submit their applications after the deadline may still receive industry grants provided that these are still available and that their applications are approved. However, late applications will only be considered after all other applications have been processed.

If you have a degree that is not mentioned in the list above, you can still apply. Your profile will be assessed for suitability by the applications committee before your application can be approved.

Make sure you apply for the programme BEFORE applying for an industry grant! Industry grant applications that are submitted with no corresponding programme application will be rejected immediately.
